The Narconon South Texas property sits out in the middle of square fields of crops, adjacent to a wandering arroyo. On the way to the property, you pass fertile fields that may be home to cotton or sugar cane crops. You turn right onto a driveway leading into a grove of trees and a colony of buildings. This is the entrance to Narconon South Texas. On this seventeen-acre property, there are lives being saved every day. At Narconon South Texas, students are learning how to build new sober lives after their old ones were destroyed by drug or alcohol addiction.
One phase of recovery after another, they march the road back to lasting sobriety using the Narconon drug rehabilitation technology that has helped addicts for five decades.
Students on the Narconon program will go through a deep detoxification that uses a sauna and nutrition to flush out old drug residues. They will learn how to brighten their perceptions and clear away the fog of drug abuse. Then they move forward to rebuild the sober-living skills they are going to need to live drug-free lives. This includes finding relief from the guilt that kept them trapped in their deadly addictions and learning how to make drug-free decisions when faced with life’s challenges.
