A Solution to Struggling with Addiction

Narconon Freedom Center

Addiction is a terrible lifestyle. Addicts become trapped by their cravings and can be led into a life of crime and violence. Those who have a loved one who is addicted to drugs or alcohol know how the addict suffers and how painful it is to see his or her life spiral out of control. Women are just as much at risk as men to become addicted.

Michigan is no exception to the illicit drug problem that haunts the entire United States. The primary illegal drugs that Michigan addicts are hooked on are cocaine and heroin. Heroin is imported into Michigan from South America and Mexico. Methamphetamine is readily available from domestic manufacturers or Mexican traffickers. Young people go to parties and nightclubs where club drugs such as Ecstasy and ketamine are sold.

Narconon Freedom Center

Narconon Freedom Center is an effective drug rehab and drug prevention education facility, serving all of Michigan. Narconon is there for those who want to overcome addiction. With this additional space, the center has increased service capacity, giving more addicts the opportunity to achieve lasting recovery. The center also provides drug education and prevention lectures to children, college students and business all around the state and beyond.

The Narconon Program Helps to Save Addicted Lives

The Narconon program delivered in Michigan is the same program that is delivered around the world. The drug-free withdrawal is followed by the Narconon New Life Detoxification which rids the body of residual drug toxins to help handle drug cravings. The final phase of this effective program is a series of courses where the recovering addict is assisted in finding the reason they began a life of drug abuse in the first place. They also get reliable and workable tools to use once back home so they can maintain a drug-free and happy life.

The opening of the new Women’s Wing was attended by staff and executives of the Narconon Freedom Center and other Narconon staff around the country, as well as community leaders and the students and parents of the students on the Narconon program.

The Senior Director of Expansion for the Narconon Freedom Center stated that they are very proud of this expansion. Nick Thiel said that the staff are on site twenty-four hours a day to help recovering addicts make it through the program as comfortably as possible. “Our program is one of the best in the state of Michigan as well as the nation for handling substance abuse,” he stated.

Founded in 1966, the Narconon drug and alcohol rehabilitation and education program has been saving addicted lives for decades with its workable program. Michigan’s Narconon Freedom Center is proud to be part of helping creating a big change in the state’s drug problem.
