Narconon Latino America Celebrates its 9th Anniversary in Villa Victoria

Narconon Latino America celebrated it’s 9th Anniversary this year from it’s home in Villa Victoria, Mexico. From this location Narconon Latino America takes responsibility for Mexico and all of Central and South America, both in terms of providing rehabilitation services to those in need and in training rehab professionals to deliver the Narconon program in their respective centers across Latin America.
Narconon Latino America operates from the historic Hacienda Dolores, an 18th Century estate restored to its splendor and beauty and since dedicated to salvaging lives from substance abuse and addiction.
To commemorate and celebrate this 9th anniversary Narconon Latino America held a series of three special events.
Three Days of Events:9th

1. Narconon Anniversary Program Completion Ceremony:
The events began with a special Narconon Program Completion Graduation, which opened with a quintessential Mariachi Band to welcome the attendees, this included local businessmen, the President of the Rotary Club of Mexico, as well as many of the Rotary Club Members and the Director of Chicness Magazine. Families of program graduates joined this celebration along with their loved ones who were saved from addiction through the Narconon program. Following the testimonials from two of Narconon Latin America's most recent graduates, the President of the Rotary Club Mexico, Beatriz Mendez, presented a commemorative statue honoring the Center's 9th anniversary.
2. Addiction Awareness and Prevention Forum:
The second event focused on raising awareness about addiction and the need for drug prevention education, in collaboration with local and state educators and government officials. This event included the Mayor of Villa Victoria, a local School Director, the Subdirector of the School of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Mexico and the President of the "DIF" (System for Integral Family Development) of Villa Victoria.
3. Monument Dedication Ceremony:
The anniversary events finished with the unveiling of a permanent monument in Villa Victoria’s City Center, in front of the City Hall. This monument, symbolizing the long term success of the Narconon program was dedicated to L. Ron Hubbard for his development of the Narconon program.

More than a hundred were in attendance, including government officials, police officers and community leaders for the unveiling of this monument. The special plaque on this monument reads:
“This monument representing the Narconon Program is dedicated to L. Ron Hubbard and Narconon Latino America for providing an effective path for rehabilitation for drug and alcohol abuse, to the benefit of our community and for the benefit of Latin America.”

Graduates Giving Back:
What makes Narconon Latino America’s anniversary of such note is not only the lives being saved, but the work the graduates of the program are doing to pay it forward. Each December, Graduates of the program organize a Christmas Toy Drive and Gift Drive, now it’s third year, for local children and families in need.
Regularly Graduates speak to local and state school assemblies and student bodies, not only speaking of the dangers of drug and alcohol use, but on the nature of addiction itself, giving a real and accurate picture to help both youth and their families be better prepared to prevent Drug Addiction.
Going Forward:
The executives and staff of Narconon Latino America were incredibly honored to be so recognized and pledged themselves to another year of creating drug-free lives—for good.
