How Long Does Weed Stay in Your System?

In this short drug education video, Bobby Wiggins, Narconon Drug Prevention Specialist, explains a basic effect of THC on the body. You can find more information on our website about the effects of marijuana and how long does weed stay in your system.

THC is a poison

The first drug that I’m going to cover is marijuana. For two reasons really. Marijuana seems to be surrounded with more controversy than any other drug we know of.

Also, marijuana seems to have the most misinformation associated with it. There are two things to understand about marijuana that will help you make the best decision possible.

  1. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a poison. That is the chemical in marijuana that gets a person high.
  2. THC stores in the fatty tissues of the body and can stay there for years and years. The more a person smokes, the more accumulation of that drug he has in his body.

People are going to decide what they’re going to decide, but I hope this information helps you make the right decision.
