To whom it may Concern:

Aloha. This letter is in recognition of Narconon Hawaii and the social betterment efforts it has made to the people of Hawaiian ancestry and citizens of Hawaii as a whole.

Narconon Hawaii was granted a 5-year license to use a portion of Hawaiian home lands located at Kalaeloa, Oahu (aka Barbers Point Naval Air Station) in April 2006. The purpose was to allow Narconon Hawaii to use a building facility (Building #1) as a venue to accomplish its mission of creating a drug-free Hawaii.

Narconon Hawaii took on this monumental task while continuing to upgrade and maintain the property. As a condition of the license and through Narconon’s diligent efforts, substantial improvements were made to Building #1 leaving the department with an increased value to Hawaiian Home Land property. The license was assigned in November 2011 with full compliance of all terms and conditions set forth by DHHL.

The mission and programs provided by Narconon Hawaii are assets to the State of Hawaii and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) is proud to have been a part of their much needed endeavor. We wish its continued success in the future.

Should there be any questions about DHHL’s relationship with Narconon Hawaii, please feel free to contact me at 808-620-9451808-722-4297 (cell) or e-mail me at linda.l.chinn@hawaii.gov.
