In honor of this, Narconon centers around the world held celebrations to acknowledge Narconon staff and graduates who have had the courage to face the daunting challenge of overcoming drug or alcohol addiction and starting a new life drug free.

Between August 8th to 15th, Louisiana was hit by a historic level of rain causing flooding and catastrophic damage. Up to 70 percent of the homes in Livingston Parish, where Narconon Louisiana New Life Retreat is located were damaged by the flood. More rain fell in Watson, Louisiana alone during the three days of the flood then Los Angeles, CA has had in four years.
