Guidelines on Effective Recovery
Narconon Program Aligns with Guidlines Published by the World Health Organization and SAMHSA
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) have set guidelines that help a family understand and navigate the recovery process for a loved one.
Both organizations have studied the types of changes a person must make when recovering not only from addiction but from any kind of disabling change in life. By publishing the results of their research, these organizations provide families with a greater understanding of the process of rehabilitation and thereby guide their search for the ideal rehab program.
