Narconon Organizes Parents’ Association

NEW LONDON - A newly formed Narconon Parents’ Association met this week at the Narconon center on the Captain’s Walk to discuss expansion of the program in Connecticut.

Narconon is a drug rehabilitation program which has operated for several years in the state. The local program will soon move its offices to Franklin Street.

At the initial meeting were Narconon program directors and parents of persons who have gone through the program.

The purpose of the new parents’ association, said the director is for parents to be able to share the experiences and anxieties of having sons and daughters on drugs, and to aid the expansion of the program.
